Wk 6

This was a fun week, everyone I knew was looking ford to something. I thought we did lots of projects, like: A class baking competition, Me writing a chapter book ( I'm on chapter 6) learning how to weave, Learn about matariki, create a doc about camp. And I'm thinking about another one.

here is my matariki rotation reflection.

Matariki rotation by Novah

This was a rotation including the tuakana team. We learned lots about matariki and most important we all had fun!

In the rotation we experienced lots of different traditional activities the maori celebrate for matariki, like: a game called ki o rahi, making traditional kites, art with cool techniques, and kapa haka songs.

I think everyone had a good challenge. My challenge was tying the base of the kites, I didn’t get it at first, but with a bit more info I got it!

My favourite activity was the arts because that day I was tired and wanted a calm activity.
